The players and coaches at Jersey Rugby Football Club have received a boost as they prepare for the crucial final weeks of the season.

Hacquoil & Cook, the renowned Island-based construction business that is one of Jersey RFC’s longest-standing sponsors, has agreed a further three-year deal to support the club.

The partnership dates back to 2013 when Hacquoil & Cook first agreed to sponsor the newly-formed Jersey Athletic side. The company’s backing has continued over several seasons, including the return of an amateur JRFC team to the English league system in 2022, and also expanded to shirt sponsorship of Jersey RFC Women.

Myles Landick, Head of Rugby at Jersey RFC, said: “The rugby club’s relationship with Hacquoil & Cook has been a really important feature throughout my time here.

“The value of a partnership like this is that the company has become part of the furniture – each side knows how the other works and that’s been a key feature as JRFC has grown in recent years.”

Dan McAlister, Chairman of Jersey RFC, added: “As the club prepares to go onwards and upwards next season, the support of our sponsors is critical and we are delighted to have Hacquoil & Cook onboard with us until 2029.”

Dom Willmott, Managing Director of Hacquoil & Cook, said: “We are very proud to be associated with Jersey RFC and to be part of the amazing journey they’ve been on and we are excited to see where things go to in the years to come.”

Jersey RFC’s Men’s squad are preparing for the final league match of a successful season which has seen the team claim the Regional 1 South Central title, securing promotion to the National Leagues, 16 years after a previous chapter in the club’s history saw the team reach the same level.

Myles Landick’s side are now seeking to complete a 100% record of wins in their league programme with victory in the final match against Wimbledon at CoinShares Park this Saturday, after which attention will turn to the Siam Cup. The 2026 battle for rugby’s second-oldest international trophy, currently held by Jersey, will be staged in Guernsey on Saturday May 16th.

Jersey RFC Women also have one league game left, with an away trip to Portsmouth Valkyries on Saturday April 25th, and will also be seeking to retain the Siam Cup when they travel to Guernsey on the third weekend of May.
